When we opened in 1979 we had six rooms, a kitchen and one principle: guests are not revenue units — they are people we have welcomed in. 47 years on we hold 60 keys, three restaurants and a casino floor — and that principle has not shifted.
There is a right way to do this work and a wrong one. Over 47 years we chose one and held to it. Every member of our team — from reception to kitchen porters — was selected, trained and retained because they share the same sense of what excellence looks like. No building can manufacture that on its own. It comes from people.
